The 14th CREST Open Workshop

Genetic Programming for Software Engineering

Date:

25 July 2011

Venue:

Rockefeller 337 David Sacks

Overview:

Search Based Software Engineering (SBSE) is an approach to software engineering in which search based optimization algorithms are used to identify optimal or near optimal solutions and to yield insight. There has been much recent activity in the field of SBSE with exciting results in many areas of Software Engineering including, Requirements, Planning, Prediction, Design, Testing, Bug Fixing, Maintenance and Re-Engineering. This workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners for a half day informal workshop to discuss exciting recent developments in the use of Genetic Programming techniques for Software Engineering Optimization.
